All About The Cats is an all volunteer, 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of abandoned and homeless cats in Bridgeport and surrounding communities. We provide food, shelter, foster homes, vet care, and eventual placement into loving homes.
We actively participate in T(trap), N(neuter), R(release) of feral cats and strive to find barn homes for those who can not be returned to their original location. We promote spaying and neutering as the only humane way to end overpopulation and the needless suffering of unwanted cats. We strongly believe in the importance of education to address appropriate physical and environmental needs of cats and kittens.
AATC hopes to partner with other rescues in our area! We are interested in collaboration, not competition, with the goal to help more cats together than we can individually. We hope to lease space from a cat friendly commercial landlord and have a physical presence in our community.
You can now visit some of our cats hoping for a home every single day at PETCO, 4559 Main St, Bridgeport!
![]() How we help: Stray cats and kittens (friendly with people) are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and fostered until we can adopt them out through our Petco adoption partnership. Feral cats (not friendly with people) are also spayed or neutered and vaccinated, then returned to a colony or placed into a farm, barn or other outdoor home. Maryann was eating garbage from a dumpster until found by a kind man who reached out for help placing her. |
![]() How can you help? We always need funds to pay vet bills for injured cats, as well as for spay and neuter surgeries to prevent unwanted litters. Charlie was a stray cat and is now living a grand life with his very own little girl. We are a registered charity in the State of CT and a 501C3 organization. Please visit our Donate page to learn more. |
![]() Prefer to donate goods? We go through a lot of cat food and litter. We help feed multiple cat colonies every day, provide food to individuals in need, to our foster families, our cats at Petco (like adorable Jessie) and to other rescues. Any brand or size of dry or canned food is greatly appreciated. Visit our Amazon Wishlist or Chewy Wishlist to help! |
