One of our primary goals is to alert our community to the vast stray and feral cat overpopulation problem. There are thousands of strays and ferals in our county alone who live on the streets without shelter, surviving on scraps and if lucky, a colony feeder. Despite their tragic living conditions, if not trapped and fixed, they will continue to produce 2-3 litters of kittens each year.
Feral cats (those not friendly with people) can be trapped, neutered and returned or placed into a barn or farm type home.
Stray cats (those who are friendly with people) can also be trapped or placed in a carrier, neutered and then put up for adoption.
We would love to speak with your school, church, or social group about the cat overpopulation problem and how people of any age can help. Please fill out our contact form and we'll be in touch soon.
If you are trying to help a stray or feral cat, please try reaching out to one of the groups below to ask about free or reduced fee spay/neuter services. Each group below has received spay/neuter Vouchers from the State of CT.
