If kitty is friendly and appears to be in good condition it’s likely they belong to someone who lets them outside. While we are concerned about them, we try to focus our efforts on the truly homeless.

If a cat does not appear to be in good condition, they may have gotten lost or been abandoned. Several local rescues take in friendly strays as space permits – including us! You can also try:

Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic in Stratford offers low cost spay or neuter and vaccines as well as affordable annual care. If you live in Bridgeport zip code 06607 or 06608 they offer free services. 203-690-1550

TAILS in Westport provides funding and spay or neuter services to the Fairfield County community. 203-222-1992

Value Pet Vet in Norwalk and Monroe also offers low cost spay or neuter as well as affordable annual care and dentals. 203-939-9590

All of the above organizations provide low cost spay or neuter services for feral cats, in a trap, by appointment.
